We are a fish and chips shop and offer so much more than meets the eye!

Do you want to catch that big one? We offer a wide range of fresh quality bait, including pilchard, pike, arrow or trawled squid, Loligo Vulgaris (local chokka), mackerel (when available), prawn, white mussel and red bait.

Angling clubs across South Africa are supplied with outstanding quality of bait on a frequent basis. We deliver bait on request and fly it to Durban or Johannesburg with SAA Cargo.

Do you enjoy the fishing but not the cleaning? We can clean, cut and vacuum pack your freshly caught fish for you – please book a spot in advance during peak season.

We offer fresh line fish and snoek (when available), as well as deep-fried hake. For our gluten intolerant customers we grill the fish in our own home made lemon butter. It is safe to say that we serve THE best calamari!!! Tender calamari dusted in a light batter and deep fried for two minutes in hot palm oil, accompanied with our homemade tartar sauce. We offer only hand cut, unprocessed, golden fried potato chips. 

We also stock a wide range of frozen seafood and authentic deli products like home made fish cakes, curry fish and pickled mussels. Our famous snoek paté is even more reason to visit us!   You’ll also find sushi ingredients, sauces, spices, and a range of health conscious products.
